A pre-AGM update on the PHBA 2022/2023 Season
AGM
Date to be confirmed pending confirmation of venue availability but we are aiming for Sunday 23rd October 2022.
Fixture Meeting
The Fixture Meeting will follow the AGM.
We expect each Club Secretary to attend AGM & Fixture Meeting or send a delegate to represent the respective club and to arrange the fixtures.
League Start
The League will formally start in November 2022 and run for 6 months.
League Format
Three disciplines; Ladies, Men’s & Mixed consisting of 4 players per Team. Player restrictions do apply and are stated within the PHBA Rules.
Open League with no player restrictions or team limits. i.e., 3 Men & 1 Lady could make a team of 4.
Singles League with no player restrictions. An ‘arrange-your-own-fixtures’ concept is being used.
Team Entry
Team entry deadline will be 14 days prior to the AGM. Assume Sunday 9th October.

Fees
A club fee of £10.00 to obtain membership for the 2022 season.
A £3.00 fee per player for those who play league matches.
League Rules & Constitution
Format is being revised and will replace the current published documents prior to start of the league season commencing in November.
New rules for Open League & Singles League are written.
